    What is the benefit of categorizing the keywords why did we learn about categorizing keywords?

    So simply when you are publishing the reports let’s say your client or your manager has asked that hey please help me understand what are the overall rankings of all the trousers or of all the bottom wears right so let’s say your category manager in an e-commerce industry for the bottom where category is different for the top category is different so then individually they want to understand the rankings of them is my category improving or not they just don’t want the overall keywords average ranking they want the rankings for the particular category in such cases categorizing those keywords and sharing the rankings average rankings for those particular categories would be important right even in case of insurance let’s say if you have an financial institution which has Insurance loans credit cards savings account this kind of different categories within which there are again hundreds keywords while you’re optimizing for one category you cannot lose the site of the other categories and that’s where sometimes your when you’re going deep diving onto a website your categorization of keywords becomes important the other categorization which we saw was in terms of head towards or tail right so even that is something which is crucial because even with your head towards or tail you can understand that okay while your head keywords are taking a lot of time to rank because let’s say if you have to today in India compete for keywords like let’s say life insurance you’re competing with the likes of ICICI and and others SBI Etc so it’s not easy to rank for that kind of head keywords but at the same time what you could do is if your blog is focusing on the long tail keywords and the long tail started seeing some rankings the average ranking starts improving you know that hey my rankings are improving yes right now the tail keywords are improving but yes slowly and steadily even the head keywords can improve so at least it gives you that particular hope that someday your head keywords would also be ranking right so that’s the other benefit of categorizing the keywords in head towards hotel or as per the categories.
