Head Of Business Development :

The position will lead the sales function, drive revenue growth, and expand the company’s client base in the SEO, automation and digital marketing domain. This role demands a strong understanding of SEO, AI Innovation, analytics, and digital marketing ROI, combined with the ability to build and lead a high-performing sales team.

Responsibilities :

  1. Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a scalable sales strategy aligned
    with business goals and revenue targets.
  2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with enterprise and midmarket clients across sectors.
  3. Client Acquisition: Own the end-to-end sales cycle – from lead generation and pitching to negotiation
    and closure.
  4. Partnerships & Alliances: Build strategic relationships with agencies, technology partners, and
    platforms to drive business growth.
  5. Revenue Management: Forecast, track, and report revenue performance, ensuring consistent
    achievement of targets.
  6. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of sales and business development professionals.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, delivery, and account management teams to ensure
    seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
  8. Market Intelligence: Stay updated with SEO trends, competitor activities, and digital
    marketing innovations to refine offerings.

Key Metrics (KPIs) :

  • Quarterly and annual sales revenue targets
  • New client acquisition count
  • Client retention and account growth rate
  • Sales pipeline health (lead-to-conversion ratio)
  • Profitability per deal

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 10 years plus of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SEO, digital marketing, MarTech industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, analytics, and digital marketing performance
    metrics.
  • Experience selling to CMOs, Marketing Heads, and digital transformation teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships based on trust and ROI delivery.
  • Data-driven decision-making and familiarity with CRM tools (Odoo, Salesforce, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications :

  • MBA or equivalent degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Prior experience in scaling a digital agency or marketing services company.
  • Exposure to international markets (US, UK, Middle East) is a plus.
