Head of Sales, Business Development – North America :

The Head of Sales, Business Development – North America owns and leads Infidigit’s U.S. sales function. This role is intentionally structured as a player-coach position during the initial market-entry phase, with a documented transition into a pure sales leadership role as revenue milestones are achieved and the team scales.

The position is responsible for sales strategy, new client acquisition, pipeline development, and the eventual build-out of the U.S. sales organization.

Responsibilities :

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Own and execute the North America go-to-market and sales strategy.
  • Define revenue targets, pipeline goals, and sales KPIs.
  • Establish scalable sales processes, playbooks, and CRM discipline.

Player-Coach Execution (Initial Phase)

  • Personally lead and close high-value sales opportunities.
  • Drive pipeline creation through outbound, inbound, partnerships, and referrals.
  • Lead executive-level discovery, negotiation, and deal closure.

Team Building & Transition to Leadership

  • Design the future U.S. sales organization structure.
  • Hire, onboard, and manage Account Executives and SDRs as revenue scales.
  • Progressively transition from hands-on selling to owning geography sales targets, leading the sales team and driving sales excellence through coaching, forecasting, and performance management.

Cross-Functional & Executive Collaboration

  • Partner with strategy and delivery teams to ensure strong solution design and client onboarding.
  • Provide regular pipeline, forecast, and performance updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications :

  • 7–12+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in a digital marketing or SEO-focused agency.
  • Proven track record selling SEO, content marketing, performance marketing, or digital growth services to mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Experience operating in a player-coach or early-stage sales leadership role, preferable.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
