cult.fit is the leading franchise in India with one of the largest chains of gyms and fitness centers all across India. They have more than 200 locations spread across all major cities and districts and have multiple other acquisitions running under their or different brand names. Their first center was in Bangalore which is also the company’s headquarter and now they are the leading and fastest-growing fitness center brand across the country.

What were the expectations of cult.fit?

The pandemic had caused several restrictions for people who wished to step out of their houses and go to gyms or fitness centres. cult.fit had a chain of gyms and fitness centres across the country which were ready to open up but with no people to come in, it became a problem. They needed to make people aware about their gym and fitness centres near their houses with all the safety measures and precautions to make sure that they could safely workout and face no issues. For this, they needed the awareness of the centres to spread and for which Infidigit played a key role in making it happen. In terms of SEO, the primary goal for cult.fit was to improve traffic and ranking for the Centre pages and therefore improve awareness about their gym centers spread across the country.

How Did Infidigit Help Achieve cult.fit's Objectives?

During the midst of the pandemic, in spite of all the external challenges in place, Infidigit managed to generate very miniscule clicks with a limited number of gyms. Later on, the Infidigit team found opportunities to create centre listing pages and optimized them with the backing of cult.fit team on Listing pages functionality access on Jan 21 and created approx 20 city-wise landing pages like gyms in Bangalore, gyms in Mumbai, gyms in Delhi etc. This strategy 

helped us bring more traffic and witnessed a improvement of around 240% in daily clicks (Comparing November 2020 to March 2021 Pre-Migration ) However, on May 10th 2021, cult.fit team decided to change their domain from cure.fit to cult.fit which lead to a serious drop in the Domain Authority and the ranking of the website, causing in a subsequent drop in the traffic on the entire website and especially on the gym centre pages.

Now the newly created domain naturally was extremely low on Domain Authority and therefore the primary goal of the Infidigit team was to create a work structure to improve traffic in the center pages So, for that the team made an analysis and explored many gyms centers in area level like for e.g gyms in BKC, gyms in Powai, gyms in Koramangala, etc. and created crucial SEO tasks:
