Nethradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital is a leading eye care chain in Bangalore known for advanced ophthalmic treatments such as LASIK, cataract surgeries, glaucoma care and more. With multiple centres across Bangalore and a team of experienced ophthalmologists and specialised medical staff, the hospital focusses on delivering high‑quality vision care with state‑of‑the‑art technology and compassionate treatment.
The Objective
To improve Nethradhama’s Google Business Profile (GBP) visibility and user engagement in the Local Search “Pack” — ensuring the hospital appears prominently when users search for eye care services like “eye hospital near me”, “LASIK surgery Bangalore”, “best eye specialist in Indiranagar”, etc.
The Challenge
Before optimisation, the Nethradhama’s GBP had these issues:
- Unoptimized GBP description — it lacked relevant local keywords and did not clearly communicate services.
- Incomplete service details — doctor profiles and offered services were missing from the GBP Products/Services section.
- Image quality & optimization issues — images were missing relevant ALT text and geo‑tagged context, reducing visibility and engagement.
The Solution
Establishing a Scalable Website Architecture
To address these challenges, we implemented the following Local SEO optimisations:
1. Optimised GBP Description
