The Client

Zivame is India’s fastest-growing fashion e-commerce company which initially started out with lingerie e-commerce before extending into multiple categories and channels. The brand was founded in 2011 with the single aim of facilitating women to shop for intimate wear seamlessly. Zivame was acquired by Reliance Retail and has a valuation of around $100 million.

The Objective

As the primary focus for this campaign was to help Zivame garner top Google Search results, the following were the objectives of its base strategy:

  • Increase Non-Brand Sessions by 100%
  • Expand their audience by 70%
  • Increase in #1 keywords
  • Gain Market Share for Various Categories

The Challenge

Despite being such a popular and well known lingerie brand across the country, the brand found it difficult to rank on SERPs for niche categories. The other challenges included:

  1. There were certain technical issues and errors that required attention.
  2. Blog content was not optimized
  3. Zivame was not in the top 5 for core categories on SERPs

The Solution

Rich Content Formulation

Infidigit created rich content keeping in mind users and search engines. The primary focus was on long tail keywords while simultaneously ensuring the content is both SEO as well as user-friendly. This strategy helped Zivame improve their keyword rankings.

Focus on Technical SEO

Infidigit did a thorough website audit where more than 250+ technical audit points were checked. There were some technical issues identified and recommendations were shared for the same. With the technical implementation, Infidigit managed to improve the technical side of the website. This resulted in an increase in non-brand traffic via the organic channels.

Contextual Linking

In this process, Infidigit identified internal linking opportunities across the website. A detailed internal linking strategy was created for the website.  This strategy helped Zivame improve internal linking and maximize crawling for bots.

The Result

After the above-mentioned strategies were perfectly executed, following were the results observed on the Zivame website:
