Recently, Claire Carlie has asked on Twitter, “Can you markup a product page with product schema if you don’t yet have reviews….?”
In the response, Google’s John Mueller validated that even if your product pages don’t involve reviews, you can still make use of product structured markup/schema on your product pages to get product rich results on the Google SERP.
You’ll either need the reviews, aggregate rating, or offers, and you can utilise the offers if the product is currently on sale. If you have 1 or more of these, you can leverage product structured data while still showcasing product rich results on the product page.
You can even read the official docs of Google to know more about Product Rich Results.
Here’s where he confirmed it in a tweet.
