Google has confirmed the rollout of the December 2020 broad core update. This broad core update is the third in 2020 after the January 2020 core update and May 2020 core update

Here is the tweet for reference

Roll Out started at 01:00 pm ET on December 03, 2020.

After, almost two hours Google stated that the roll out has begun. As is typical with these updates, it will typically take about one to two weeks to roll out fully.

Is the core update Good or Bad for SEOs and site owners?

Many site owners assume that they will get hit by Google algorithm updates. But, that does not mean it is bad for everyone. For sites who are working diligently on producing high quality content and providing better user experience might see positive results in such updates.

Final Thoughts

For SEOs and site owners, it is too early to see any significant impact from the December 2020 core update. That being said, keep a check on analytics and rankings and let us know in the comments box regarding your observation on ranking fluctuations for any domains.
